I will be opening back up for in stock items on April 22nd (Earth Day) !  Look for new products, fibers and yarns!!!  I will be stocking my main HC shop and Etsy with lots of goodies!!

I got around to getting licensed for the sheepy time pants pattern which is my fave.  I will be putting up sheepy pants for sale here and there as I have time to knit them up from yummy handspuns!  Handspun just knits up so gorgeously and makes great longies and shorties!!

So it’s official we have a date set for the completion of our new home which will include a brick and mortar home for Earth Yarn that you can visit and test out spinning wheels and or have a look at and purchase our yummy fiber offerings.  I will also be working on putting together some classes and studio workshops after the dust settles!  I will keep everyone posted on our progress!

I am nearing 30 weeks pregnant now and wanted to update and let everyone know that beginning March 1st I will be taking a break to prepare for our new little one.  I will still be creating fiber and yarn but on a much more limited basis.  Most likely I will stay on break unil a month after Ronan joins us especially because we are planning on moving into our new house around that time as well.  I will still take very limited customs and will be working on building a big stock for when I return!

This awesome and extremely luxurious roving is being custom created just for Earth Yarn.  Both fibers are imported by my distributors and then custom blended just for Earth Yarn to create pure fiber bliss!  this roving wil take dye like a champion and spins like buttah!  You will find some undyed roving on my main shop as well and some dyed rovings and yarn popping up on either my main shop, my Etsy or one of my congos.  This is to be the first of many cutstom and unique to Earth Yarn fiber blends that I will be offering.

Welcome to EarthYarn.net!  I am a work at home mom running a business built off of my favorite hobby.  Fiber has become one of my greatest passions and loves and I bring that into everything I create here for Earth Yarn.  By reading up on my blog you will find out about new updates on products and ideas and about store stockings and such.  I specialize in luxury/exotic fibers so expect to see a lot of really fun and super scrumptious fiber in the future.  I also will be offering up some awesome one of a kind custom processed just for Earth Yarn fibers like Australian Merino/Superfine Cashmere 60/40 blend roving!  I am really excited to bring to you one of things in life that brings me such great joy and satisfaction!  Right now I use both Jaquard and Cushing’s Perfection professional acid dyes to give me an enormous palet of colors to work with that will be both brilliant and colorfast.
